DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT:

This action will result in the award of a firm fixed price (FFP) contract for Runway Deicer.

The supplies are Cryotech Liquid Deicer and Sodium Acetate Solid Deicer. This Sources Sought is looking for manufacturers and distributors of Cryotech Liquid Deicer. This Sources Sought is also looking for manufacturers and distributors of Sodium Acetate Solid Deicer.

The liquid Cryotech Deicer cannot be mixed with any other product in existing storage tanks. The existing storage tanks hold up to 28,000 gallons maxium in our tanks at all times due to our mission. The storage tanks are connected in series with one another and including a liquid Deicer other than Cryotech would produce cross contamination of the current Cryotech Liquid Deicers in the tanks.

The solid Sodium Acetate Solid Deicer is the brand of Solid Airfield Deicer that is used at Wright Patterson Air Force Base and is what shall be used for this requirement.

The estimated maximum yearly quantities are listed below:
Liquid Runway Deier - 17,600 gallons - 4,400 Gallon at a time orders.
Solid Runway Deicer - Sodium Acetate - (1000 KG Super Sack) - 80 sacks - 20 Sacks at a time orders.

CAPABILITIES PACKAGE: Interested firms should submit a capability statement that describes the firm's capability to provide all of the supplies and services described above.
