Contract Action:  In accordance with  DLAD 52.216-9006-ADDITON/DELETION OF ITEMS  (dated August 2005), as noted in Solicitation SM5EC-13-R-0003, additional  CSI/FAT Bolts  may be added to resultant contracts utilizing commercial procedures I/A/W Part 12 & Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR Subpart13.5.  Resultant contracts are in their specified base periods and may have  3 additional one year option periods. The two required Add Items, are NSNs: 5306-01-185-6236 and 5306-01-185-6237. These Items are specified as Critical Safety Items (CSI) Bolts with FAT requirements, are sourced controlled with approved source format and have a delivery of 360 days, (including the completion of FAT requirements). This contract action is for supplies which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted  technical data, therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only one or a limited number of sources under FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C)(1).
