The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified firms interested in providing dental coverage to active employees, employees on leave of absence, retired employees, COBRA employees and their eligible dependents effective January 1, 2019. The CSU seeks to partner with a firm that can demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the challenges of managing dental plan benefits for twenty-three (23) CSU campuses in the Northern, Southern and Central Valley locations. The firm should have a comprehensive knowledge of both Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) and Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) dental plans and have experience managing dental plans for an active and retiree population.
