Course Scope: This one-year course introduces students to business and marketing concepts in the areas of business management, entrepreneurship, and marketing. Students gain an understanding of principles related to business law, communications, customer relations, economics, information management, and operations. Instructional practices incorporate integration of diversity awareness including appreciation of all cultures and their important contributions to society. The appropriate use of technology is an integral part of this course. This course fulfills one of the Arts/Humanities/CTE credits required for high school graduation.
