The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-12-G-0006 with the Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office on an ‘other than full and open' competitive basis to address product improvement requirements associated with the redesign of the Search Landing Light (SLL) utilized on the V-22 Osprey. Due to unique mission requirements, the redesign of the existing SLL shall have increased intensity, decreased deploy/stow time, and light illumination/extinguishment requirements (excessive delay in search light illumination). This effort includes the Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) and Retrofit Recurring Engineering (RE) required for the design, development, manufacturing, engineering, qualification, test evaluation and integration into the air vehicle of a redesigned SLL onto the V-22 Osprey.
Bell-Boeing is the only known source that possesses the requisite knowledge and expertise required to perform this effort. For subcontracting opportunities please contact Ralph D'iorio at 610-591-9157 or Ralph.b.d'
