The US Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service in Pullman, Washington has a requirement for a CyFlow Ploidy Analyser. Ploidy determinations with the CyFlow® Ploidy Analyser are performed by the precise measurement of the total DNA content of individual nuclei, which can be derived from almost any plant tissue. The CyFlow® Ploidy Analyser measures the DNA content of many thousands of individual nuclei within seconds or minutes. The result is displayed as a DNA histogram in real time on a large colour touchscreen together with the ploidy level. The ploidy analysis is extremely time and cost efficient.  The USDA intends on negotiating wiith the only known source ParTec. An RFQ is not available for this procurement action and funds are not available to purchase at this time. Interested firms are encouraged to submit proposals to the attention of Vickie Lutes as listed in this notice. See numbered note 22.
