The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with
Stratasys, Inc. 7665 Commerce Way Eden Prairie, MN 55344 for an maintenance service agreement with
existing contract for Fortus 400MC 3d Printer. Purchasing this service contract with this Vendor
will ensure the printer is maintained at the appropriate operating level this is the only Vendor
capable to meet DEA’s requirement.

In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government's
requirements detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the
agency. The Government anticipates the award of a firm‐fixed price purchase order. This requirement
is for small business’ only. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to
competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In
accordance with FAR 6.302‐1(c) the justification is attached with this notice. The acquisition will
be conducted through the FAR Part 13 "Simplified Acquisition Procedures." The North American
Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 811310. This notice of intent
is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Closing
