APBI ANNOUNCEMENTThis announcement is released by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), Eatontown, NJ to notify industry of an upcoming Advanced Planning Briefing for Industry (APBI). This APBI will be a one day event on November 17, 2009, and will run from 8 am to 5 pm. The doors will open at 7 am for registration and networking. The event is being held at the Sheraton Hotel, Eatontown, NJ. The objective of this APBI is to introduce the TAC to industry. Additionally, this APBI will be focused on opportunities from the Office of Information and Technology (OI&T). Attendance is limited to two people per company. The APBI will feature an overview entitled "VA Architectural Framework." Industry is strongly advised to bring a Systems Engineer with expertise in Software Engineering to attend this APBI as the VA is looking for input from industry in this particular area. Companies of all sizes are invited, but you must be registered to attend. Registration will be limited by room size on a first-come first-serve basis.
