Travis AFB intends to award a sole source renewal purchase order to Bayer Corporation, Norwood, MA. for the following: Item #1: Use of two (2) Advia 2120 Hematology Analyzers. The contract shall include all consumables, reagents, test kits, controls, and calibrators utilized during maintenance and service of analyzers for the duration of the contract. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 (a), full and open competition need not be provided when there is Only one Responsible Source and no other Supply or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The period of performance is from 01 Oct 06 through 30 Sep 07. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which will be considered by the agency. NAICS Code 334516 applies.
