This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for service under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Cingular Wireless, 11710 Beltsville Drive, Beltsville MD 20705. The sole source requirement is for annual renewal of voice and data services for the SEC’s Blackberry devices. The Securities and Exchange Commission currently employs Cingular voice and data services for the Blackberry devices currently used within the SEC. The SEC is renewing this contract with Cingular to allow for uninterrupted voice/data services and to avoid changing telephone numbers associated with the current Blackberry devices. This award will be made, unless information to the contrary is received by Louis Gilden at [email protected] no later than 5:00PM EST on October 24, 2005. Information received as a result of this notice may or may not affect the award and is solely within the discretion of the SEC.
