The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Division intends to acquire on a sole source basis Cisco Systems in support of the U.S. Joint Forces Command Joint Deployment Center (USJFCOM JDC). Delivery shall be made to USJFCOM located on 1428 Blandy Road, Bldg. NH-35, Norfolk, VA 23551. A firm-fixed price purchase order is contemplated. This requirement will be processed in accordance with FAR Part 13, as supplemented by FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code is 334111 and the Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees. This is a sole source action for Cisco Systems equipment. The FISC Norfolk Contract Department Philadelphia Division requests quotations from Cisco Systems and their authorized suppliers for providing the items in the following list in the specified quantities. The subject requirement is sole source to Cisco Systems because Cisco products are the only equipment compatible with the existing JDC architecture. A determination not to compete among manufacturers intending to provide other than Cisco Systems equipment identified herein based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses indicating that a vendor wishes to provide other than Cisco Systems equipment listed will normally be considered solely of determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive procurement.
