The South Veterans Health Care System, Audie L. Murphy Division, 7400 Merton Minter Blvd., San Antonio, TX 78229-4404, IAW FAR 6.302-1, intends to negotiate sole source with MUMPS AudioFax for a full service contract on the Audiofax/AudioCARE system. This system uses proprietary hardware/software. Maintenance, upgrades, and licenses can only be adequately performed by this contractor. Period of performance is October 1, 2005 thru September 30, 2006, plus two option years. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation/request for offerors. No solicitation package is available. The determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government.
