The United States Senate Office of the Sergeant at Arms (SAA) is seeking qualified sources for technical support and consulting services on an IDIQ/Task Order basis to support the SAA Documentum applications. All requirements listed below are mandatory unless otherwise noted. This Sources Sought Notice (Notice) is not a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Senate to an award of a contract. This sources sought synopsis contains the currently available information.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified vendors will have demonstrated the capability to assist the SAA in supporting and maintaining its Documentum applications, both existing and future. Specifically, the SAA intends to award issue tasks under an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Delivery contract for technical support and maintenance for the existing applications, as well as overall analysis, design, development, test, deployment and documentation support, surrounding future SAA Documentum applications.
The SAA has three (3) Documentum applications within its operations: 1) a Document Management System which includes workflows for Purchasing and Accounts Payable functions within the SAA; 2) a Content Management System to support the senate.gov public web site; and 3) the Legislative Information System (LIS) Document Management System (DMS) for managing and tracking legislation.
1. Demonstrated corporate experience providing technical support and maintenance services for Documentum applications, such support and services to include overall analysis, design, development, test, deployment and documentation support, surrounding future SAA Documentum applications.
2. Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality staff with experience working with the Documentum product.
INSTRUCTIONS
In responding to this Notice, the vendor shall provide a narrative summary for a minimum of three (3) different engagements involving the above technical support and maintenance services. Your response must include a thorough description of your company capabilities. In addition, the vendor shall include: a) organizational information including its Dun and Bradstreet number and point of contact with telephone, fax and e-mail address; and b) Past Performance Information to include three (3) past performance references relevant to the Requirements above along with complete and current contact information (customer name, project name/contract number, address, contact name, phone number and email). The Senate will check references as necessary to evaluate past performance.
After receipt and review of the responses to this Notice, the SAA intends to issue a solicitation. The information contained in this notice will be the only information provided by the SAA during the Sources Sought process. All qualified sources should respond to this Notice by submitting an information package in accordance with the instructions provided. Vendors responding to this Notice and deemed qualified by the SAA may be requested to submit a proposal in response to a solicitation. Only firms deemed qualified will be permitted to submit proposals. If suitable responses are received from qualified sources, the SAA anticipates release of a solicitation during the second quarter of Fiscal Year 2008.
Neither the SAA nor the Senate will be responsible for any costs for the preparation of responses to this request. Responses to this Notice are due to the POC no later than March 17, 2008, at Noon EDT and shall be submitted electronically via email only to the POC at
[email protected]. The subject line of the email message shall be: SSN 2008-S-006 Documentum Support Services. No other method of transmittal will be accepted. The response shall not exceed fifteen (15) pages. The page limitation excludes the cover page and index page. Unnecessarily elaborate submissions are discouraged. Pages over the page limitation may be discarded. Access by the SAA to information in any files attached to the response is the responsibility of the submitting party. Neither the SAA nor the Senate is responsible for any failure to access vendor information.
