The Center of Acquisition Innovations (CAI) 1615 Woodward Street, Austin, TX 78772 in accordance with FAR 13.501 intends to negotiate a Brand Name Only source procurement for a EMC Corporation manufactured item. It will be to purchase the EMC Corporation Renewal Software Maintenance of Power Path Windows WGR license with 7x24x365 coverage and a 4 hour response time from a NASA SEWP program contract located in Austin, TX. Hines, IL., and Philadelphia, PA. This request is for notification purposes only, and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), a Solicitation, a Request for Quote (RFQ) or, an indication that the Government will award a contract for the items contained in this RFI. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this request. The Government does not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with submission of the information being requested or, reimburse expenses incurred for responses to this RFI. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that other than this Brand Name would be advantageous to the Government.
