The Department of Homeland Security, Office of Procurement Operations intends to award a Sole Source Contract to Pixia Corporation, 54615 Willow Pond Plaza, Suite 200, Sterling, VA 20164-4459. The contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit with only one source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation will be issued. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. The procurement is for the purchase of professional services and software that enables the rapid ingest of large quantities of imagery into a Geospatial Infrastructure. The period of performance is 12 months after contract award. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
