The NETCOM/9th Signal Command (Army) has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services for ALTESS, Radford, VA. The proposed contract is for a base year with four one-year options. The local exchange services provider, certified by the state of Virginia, shall provide local commercial communications service for ALTESS , which shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial subscriber lines, digital access trunks, local exchange digital (ISDN PRI) trunks, transport channels, foreign exchange trunks and directory number and number portability. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered. Sources responding to this requirement must indicate in writing, whether they are a large, small, disadvantaged and /or women-owned business. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under SIC code 4813 with size standard of 1500 employees NAICS 517110. This requirement shall be a commercial, fixed price type contract.
