The South Veterans Health Care System, Audie L. Murphy Division, 7400 Merton Minter Blvd., San Antonio, TX 78229-4404, IAW FAR 6.302-1, intends to negotiate sole source with MUMPS AudioFax for a full service contract on the Audiofax/AudioCARE system. This system uses proprietary hardware/software. Maintenance, upgrades, and licenses can only be adequately performed by this contractor. Period of performance is April1, 2002 thru March 31, 2003, plus four option years. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation/request for offerors. No solicitation package is available. The determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government.
