The following software is extensively used at DFRC for flight test vehicle design, analysis, and simulation: 30 each MATLAB Maintenance, 17 each Simulink Maintenance, 2 each Aerospace Blockset Maintenance, 2 each Aerospace Toolbox Maintenance, 14 each Control System Toolbox Maintenance, 1 each Real-Time Workshop Embedded Coder Maintenance, 1 each Fuzzy Logic Toolbox Maintenance, 3 each System Identification Toolbox Maintenance, 1 each Image Processing Tool Box Maintenance , 2 each MATLAB Report Generator Maintenance, 2 each Simulink Response Optimization Maintenance, 4 each Neural Network Toolbox Maintenance, 4 each Optimization Toolbox Maintenance, 1 each SimPowerSystems Maintenance, 4 each Robust Control Toolbox Maintenance, 1 each Real-Time Workshop Maintenance, 2 each Accelerator Maintenance, 2 each Simulink Control Design Maintenance, 1 each Stateflow Maintenance, 8 each Signal Processing Toolbox Maintenance, 1 each Symbolic Math Toolbox Maintenance, 2 each Spline Toolbox Maintenance, 2 each Simulink Report Generator Maintenance, 1 each Statistics Toolbox Maintenance, 1 each Embedded Target for Motorola MPC555 Maintenance, 1each Virtual Reality Toolbox Maintenance, 2 each Simulink Verification and Validation Maintenance, 1 each Wavelet Toolbox Maintenance. The authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1) "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirementsâ. Justification is based upon Math Worksâproprietary and trademark protection of their products. These MathWorksâ products are produced only by MathWorksâ and are intended solely for the use with MathWorksâ products. These products will supplement the MathWorksâ products already owned by the Center. Award to any other source would result in failure to meet the Agency's requirements. The Government intends to acquire these commercial services using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit capabilities and specifications of their product in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on Jan 19, 2007. Such capabilities/specifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed.
