Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Charleston intends to award a sole-source contract to Medicomp of VA Inc., Chantilly, VA. The contract will provide for the continuance of maintenance and support (M&S) for Medcin licensed software (s/w) which includes Medcin Clinical Knowledge Engine v2; Medcin Graphical User Interface (GUI); and related components manufactured by Medicomp the developer and owner of the software. The period of performance will be from 1 October 2007 through 30 September 2011. A commercial Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, firm-fixed-price contract is anticipated. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511210, and the size standard is $23 million. This announcement is not a request for competitive proposals.
