The VISN22 Network Business Center Logistics Office intents to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 13) sole source purchase with Addiction Management Systems (AMS), 37-18 34th street, Long Island, NY 11101. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements due to AMS has been solely granted approval to interface with the Department of Veterans Affairs legacy software systems. The Contractor agrees to furnish, install, convert and train users on the Contractor’s Methadone dispensing and clinic management software which includes a treatment care plan, physician module, administration module, financial module (private fee), a reception module and prescription module for 1 to 10 users at three locations, Sepulveda VA Clinic, LAACC VA Clinic and the VAGLAHS Clinic.

The Government will consider all quotes received by Monday, 4:00pm, (pacific time) August 23, 2004. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to the notice is solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
