FISC Norfolk Det. Phila intends to extend on a sole source basis the period of performance with Verizon Federal, Inc of Washington, DC under FISC contract # N00140-99-D-H034 for a three month period starting 1 July 04 through 30 September 04. Subject contract provides Centrex telephone services including caller-id for approximately 8,000 telephone lines per month. The services are in support of the Base Communications Office located in Mechanicsburg, PA. Subject contract extension is needed to allow FISC Norfolk Det. Phila to process the competitive follow-on, which will be initiated shortly. Note 22 applies to this sole source acquisition effort.
