Notice of Intent to sole source with DataComm Consulting Group, Inc, 1276 Castleton Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10310 for the following services. Purchase of 120 ea, Mitel 4025 Supersets (Charcoal, Non-Backlit)(new equipment) plus the installation of a Mitel SX-200 plus reprogramming of Mitel PBX, labor to perform "cut over" after hours and on weekends. Installation labor for 100 additional sets, labor to install Mitel Mail CPE(8 port) and 100 pair riser cable parts and installation from 2nd floor to Mezzanine. The justification for the sole source is that this vendor has continuously serviced this location and is the only known vendor in the area.This proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6. Interested persons may indetify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the closing date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Closing date is July 23, 2004.
