The proposals will be evaluated on the following criteria in the orde r of importance: 1. Maintenance to include updates and patches which must be compatible with Trusted Computer Solutions (TCS) software licenses currently in place and a help desk and 2. Cost of providing the maintenance. The performance of the contract wi ll be rated based upon the reasonable availability of help desk personnel during normal business hours (EST) and a reasonable acknowledgement to trouble reports. Failure to provide these items 3 or more times per month on 3 consecutive months will be caus e for termination of the contract. It is anticipated that this acquisition will be a sole source award to Trusted Computer Solutions (TCS), 2350 Corporate Park Drive, Herndon, VA 20171-4848 under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304( c)(1). Only One Responsible Source, as implemented by FAR 6.30 2-1(a)(1). Although TCS has authorized resellers for the software product licenses, TCS has not authorized any known alternative sources or contract vehicles for TCS maintenance of their software licenses.
