Subject to final approval, the Bureau of the Public Debt intends to acquire on a sole-source basis to NEON Systems, Inc. (formerly ClientSoft Inc.) 8323 NW 12 Street, Miami, FL 33124, software maintenance/support for 10 ClientBuilder TeamWork Developers, and 1000 ClientBuilder TeamWork RunTimes. The annual maintenance renewal period of performance is 07/18/2005 through 07/17/2006. Maintenance/Support for ClientBuilder and for all ClientSoft products is provided directly by NEON Systems. There are no resellers that provide maintenance/support for this software. The Government intends to solicit only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Services are being solicited and awarded as a commercial item in accordance with FAR 13.5. This notice of intent is not a request for quote. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT IS AVAILABLE. A request for more information or a copy of the solicitation will not be considered an affirmative response. Only written responses will be considered, and shall be accompanied by sufficient documentation to clearly show the ability to provide the requirement at terms more advantageous to the Government. If no written response is received by 2:00 p.m. June 27, 2005, that clearly demonstrates the ability to meet all requirements and that it is more advantageous to the Government, a sole-source award will be made to NEON Systems, Inc.
