This is a notice of intent to sole source a requirement to Symbolics, for Symbolic software and hardware maintenance. The Contractor shall provide hardware maintenance and software support for 3 Symbolics XL1201s (SNs 49150, 49156, 49151), 1 Symbol ics NXP server (SN 70141), 1 Symbolics monitor (SN 21350), and 3 workstations based upon the Alpha chipset (CAA Assets Numbers 1750, 2423, and 2424) and their peripheral enclosures. Furthermore, contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, mat erials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform software and hardware maintenance as defined in this Performance Work Statement. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requiremen t or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all proposals received by the closing date and time will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon re sponses is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any vendor who believes that they can provide this service per the requi rement can email their company's capabilities information to the attention of Julian O.
