The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 260 Industrial Way West, Eatontown, NJ 07724 intends to enter into a contract on the basis of other than full and open competition for the Office of Information and Technology (OI&T). The TAC intends to award a sole source, one (1) year, firm-fixed price contract to Veterans Enterprise Technology Solutions, Inc. (VETS Inc.), 2057 Woodford Road, Suite 200, Vienna, VA 22182-5029, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) pursuant to authority 38 U.S.C. 8127(c), Veterans First Contracting Program and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-5, "Authorized or required by statute" for the Veterans Benefits Management System (VBMS) Virtual VA Integration. The purpose of the contract is for the contractor to execute the migration of all documents from the legacy Virtual VA environment into a consolidated document repository of the VBMS. Services shall include executing inputs to populate the new, consolidated repository, as well as assuring all identified VA users have access to the documents from the consolidated repository via standard web services. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) for this effort is 541511. The estimated date of award for this action is August 10, 2012. This notification shall close on August 3, 2012.
