The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Procurement, Acquisition, and Logistics, Technology Acquisition Center, located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, NJ, intends to modify an existing contract to maintain coverage for LEC telecommunication voice and data services in Middleton and Madison ,Wisconsin. The TAC intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price modification to TDS Telecommunications Corporation (TDS) located at 525 Junction Road Suite 1000, Madison, WI 53717-2153, as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 entitled, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. However, in accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The proposed period of performance is a 10-month base period, with three subsequent 12-month option periods in order to co-term with the existing contract. The proposed modification is for the continued LEC telecommunication voice and data services include plain old telephone service (POTS) lines/business lines, integrated services digital network (ISDN) primary rate interfaces (PRI), direct inward dialing two-way, with features of caller ID (POTS), and Caller ID(PRI) services.
