The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order with one Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) source, Velocity Applications, LLC. Velocity Applications is a verified SDVOSB and is registered in SBA VetCert. The procurement is to renew licensing for Vaultara Flight software and monthly support for exciting Vaultara platform. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 513210. This procurement will be made under the authority of Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by Federal acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-5 and Title 38 U.S.C. 8127 and implemented under VAAR 819.7008. As allowed by 38 U.S.C. 8127, awards to SDVOSBs can be made on a sole source basis. IAW VAAR 819.7008(b), sole source awards to SDVOSB concerns, the contracting officer s determination whether to make a sole source award is a business decision wholly within the discretion of the contracting officer. A determination that only one SDVOSB concern is available to meet the requirement is not required. The anticipated award date: 09/22/2023. This requirement is for: Department of Veterans Affairs Various VISN 20 Locations to include: Seattle VA Medical Center Puget Sound Health Care System 1660 S. Columbian Way Seattle, WA 98108 This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining the market place for future procurements and whether to conduct a competitive procurement in lieu of sole source contract described in this notice, and such determination shall be made at the sole discretion of the Government. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
