This solicitation is being issued to establish an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) that will provide stock replenishment coverage in support of military depots.
In addition to the NSN specified in Section B of this solicitation, the scope of this contract include all DLA and DoD managed NSN for which one, any, or all of the following is/are approved source(s): Daniels Manufacturing Corporation (11851), Astro Tool Corp (58164) and Tyco Electronics (06090). NSNs within the scope may be added to this initiative or any resulting contract at a later date in accordance with clause I16C04 - Addition/Deletion of Items.

The solicitation will be available on or about 26 September 2011 at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.

All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class 5935 and 5999.

The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years.

This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1).

Approved sources are: Daniels Manufacturing Corporation (11851), Astro Tool Corp (58164) and Tyco Electronics (06090).
