This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.  Reference Number NWWG9502-10-10126 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).  The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-40.

This procurement is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE.  The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339999 with a small business size standard of 500 employees or less.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS), National Data Buoy Center, NDBC, requires the following items:

DART II (Tsunami) Buoys, 2 each, in accordance with the attached specifications and drawings.

The required delivery date is on or before June 30, 2010.   This requirement will be awarded under a firm fixed priced contract.  All quotes shall be FOB Destination, Stennis Space Center, MS, 39529.
