Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated §§50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide services which may include, but not be limited to, providing technical assistance (Support Services) to disadvantaged business entities (DBEs) helping these businesses to become adept in business planning and development, financial packaging including obtaining bonds and/or loans, bidding and estimating of quantities and calculating bids or quote, construction management including the negotiating of contracts and subcontracts, and marketing to the Georgia Department of Transportation (hereinafter, the State Entity or GDOT) as further described in this eRFP. GDOT anticipates an Open Agency Contract requiring no minimum or maximum usage. The contract should be for one (1) year from the date of award, with the option to renew for up to four (4) additional one (1) year terms. Bidders of this solicitation are encouraged to be registered with the State of Georgia Office of Secretary of State or corresponding agency within the state of the business headquarters. Firm must provide company's full legal name as registered, and the signature must be that of the principal of the company or authorized agent. Failure to provide accurate information may result in rejection of bid.
