STATEMENT OF WORK WASHINGTON D.C. VA MEDICAL CENTER Introduction: The Washington D.C. VA Medical Center (DCVAMC) Police Service is in need of Police Radio System with Push-To-Talk over Cellular (PoC) radio that allows better Communication coverage in even the most rural areas as compared to standard UHF, VHF, or 800mhz radios. Period of Performance: The anticipated start date of this contract is October 1, 2022 September 30, 2023. The initial contract will be for a period of 12 months, with base plus 4-year option. Location: Washington DC, VAMC at 50 Irving ST NW, Washington, DC 20422. Scope of Work: The Contractor will provide air-time which gives the end user coverage anywhere AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile or Sprint have cellphone coverage. Push-to-talk over cellular (PoC) option for a cellular phone network that enables subscribers to use a PoC as a walkie talkie with unlimited range (with almost instance connection) giving the ability for a single person to reach an active group with s single button press. Mandatory Task & Deliverables: Provide airtime to allow the Push-To-Talk over Cellular (PoC) Radios coverage on the network Service Maintenance Agreement: The Contractor is responsible for: Restoration of network disruption within 1 hour of a service call Re-Program each radio (if it drops off) to communicate on the network Repair/replacement all hardware found to be faulty or inoperable with no additional cost to the agency, other than damage due to user error within 5 business days: - Portable Radio, - Batteries - Radio Bank Charger -Shoulder microphones/Bluetooth microphones - Mobile Desktop - SIM cards The Contractor will ensure proper coordination with the onsite COR, (Contracting Officers Representative). Authorized Services: Only those services specified herein are authorized under this contract. Before performing any service of a non-contract nature, the COR, or Contracting Officer must be advised of the reasons for this additional work. If appropriate, the Contracting Officer or his/her designee may authorize the additional services under a separate purchase authorization. Contractor is cautioned that only the Contracting Officer or his/her designee may authorize additional services and that reimbursement will not be made unless this prior authorization is obtained
