This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for the procurement of Calibration Standards (CALSTDs) and ancillary equipment for Aviation Fleet Intermediate Calibration Activities, Fleet Training Activities and Aviation Navy Calibration Laboratories (NCLs) to support Aviation Organizational and Intermediate level maintenance assets. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract, on a sole source basis, to Morehouse Instruments, 1742 Sixth Avenue, York PA 17403-2675, for this procurement. The statutory authority permitting other than Full and Open Competition is USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The procedures of FAR Part 12 and 13.5 will be utilized for this commercial acquisition. Requirement shall include the following: 1. Mfr. one-year warranty with sticker affixed to each unit plus a warranty certificate. 2. Calibration Certificate and calibration sticker (as applicable for each unit) 3. Units shall be serialized. The contractor shall provide the following equipment with no substitutions: 1) P/N DCM-MH-25K 25k lbf Model MH Deadweight Calibrating Machine, Assy#: 809000 Qty 1 To include the following: a) Machined from stainless steel. b) ISO/IEC 17025 certified traceable to SI adjusted to better than 0.002% of their nominal value. c) ISO/IEC 17025 certified traceable to SI. 2) P/N DCM-MH-2K 2k lbf Model MH Deadweight Calibrating Machine, Assy#: 808000 Qty 1 To include the following: a) Machined from stainless steel. b) ISO/IEC 17025 certified traceable to SI adjusted to better than 0.002% of their nominal value. c) ISO/IEC 17025 certified traceable to SI. The items above must be delivered to the following address: COMMANDER, NAVAIR Calibration Standards, MCAS, Attn: Lou Cerrillo, (UIC N48535) Building 612, Bay 9, Beaufort, SC 29904. Delivery shall be no later than 34 weeks after contract award. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
