The 18th Contracting Squadron at Kadena Air Base, Okinawa intends to award a purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedure (SAP) for Scale Maintenance at four (4) DeCA locations.
The contractor shall provide all management, labor, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, materials, and parts necessary to calibrate, inspect, maintain, repair and test scales at Kadena Air Base, Camp Foster, Camp Courtney and Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan.
The maintenance services shall consist of preventive and on-call maintenance service as follows:
(1) Preventive maintenance service: The contractor shall furnish the preventive maintenance services to the machine specified in the schedule at least one (1) time during the contract period. The preventive maintenance services shall include technical adjustment, calibration, cleaning lubrication and other services to keep the machine in good operating condition.
(2) On-Call maintenance services: The on-call maintenance services shall include all necessary labor to repair the inoperative machine and replacement parts for the repair.
