HARTFORD DECANT FACILITY PROJECT NO. (18037) Sealed bid proposals will be received by the City of Lake Stevens Public Works Department, 1812 Main Street (physical) or P.O. Box 257 (mailing), Lake Stevens, Washington, 98258 until 10:00 AM, July 10, 2020, at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read aloud. Bids received after the due date and time will not be considered. Bidders shall submit one (1) original of the bid proposal in a sealed envelope labeled with the bidder’s name, address, request for bid number 18037 and title (HARTFORD DECANT FACILITY). The work to be performed under this contract consists of developing a four-bay covered decant facility, ecology block material storage bays, CMU maintenance and utility building with restroom, paved asphalt surfacing, onsite stormwater collection system, mechanical stormwater filters, potable water extension with booster pump station, backflow preventer and hose bibs, decant pretreatment manhole, septic tank and oil/water separator, new electrical service, site lighting, and site electrical. The City of Lake Stevens reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any immaterial irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw its bid after the hour set for the opening thereof or before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period of sixty (60) days. The City further reserves the right to make the bid award as deemed in the best interest of the City.
