The City of Mountlake Terrace is inviting bids for this project using the Small Works Roster procedures. Bids will be received until 10:00 AM., Pacific Time, on Friday, March 17, 2023. Bids are to be submitted by way of email as detailed in the Bidder’s Instructions. Questions or clarifications regarding this Invitation for Bid must be received by 4 PM on Monday, March 13, 2023. This project will reconstruct the City of Mountlake Terrace’s decant facility located at the Public Works Facility at 6204 215th St SW in Mountlake Terrace, Washington. The decant facility is designed to separate solids from liquids from sewer, water, and stormwater cleaning operations. The facility consists of three large covered bays where street and utility cleaning equipment can be emptied and washed. Two bays of the facility will be reconstructed to relieve the system from clogging and to improve access by large equipment. The Work includes erosion and sediment control, demolition and removal of materials, protection of existing facilities, installation of concrete slabs and HMA pavement, and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the 2022 WSDOT/APWA Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction. A building permit for this project has already been obtained by the city. The estimated cost of construction is between $60,000 and $75,000. All contractors must be licensed in the State of Washington to conduct business. Bid packet is available.
