Synopsis:

The Defense Logistics Agency-Energy (DLA-Energy) is seeking quotations for 22,500 Gallons of Red-Dyed ULSD #2 for delivery on May 30, 2013.

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Evaluation will be conduction using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.


(ii) The solicitation number is SP0600-13-Q-0240 and this is a request for quotations. A firm fixed price will be awarded.

(iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular April 1, 2013.

(iv) This is a small business set-aside and the NAICS code is 324110.

(v) Product: Red-Dyed ULSD Diesel #2 Grade
     Quantity: 22,500 Gallons

(vi) Delivery Mode: Tank Truck (TT) with a pump and meter into 6/12,000    gallon above ground tanks. Contractor must furnish delivery ticket and certification of fuel content for start of Arkansas inspection.

(vii) Delivery Location: Mellwood, Arkansas 72367

(viii) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies. All vendors must have active SAM registration https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.

(ix) Lowest price technically acceptable will be used to evaluate the offer under FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial.

(xi) FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
