The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Port Hueneme Division (PHD) intends to enter into a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with Eaton Corporation, CAGE: 45X75, in accordance with the statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Eaton Corporation is the only manufacturer specified on Control Drawings for this specific item.

This procurement is for a 200 each, SAE ORB Straight Adapter, Mfr P/N AE38011-2020. This acquisition is being procured under NAICS Code 332919. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.

This will be a commercial acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12.
The proposed contract action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
