The TCN/US PSC Democracy Officer reports to the USDH Office Director. S/he has specific lead responsibility for activity design, program management and activity management in at least one of the major program areas, most likely for elections. The incumbent will participate actively in strategy development, office management and representational duties on an as-needed basis. Staff actively participates in a number of donor coordinating groups, including the bi-weekly Technical Coordination meeting with the donors and the GDRC, the monthly steering committees for elections (Comité de Partenariat), the bi-weekly meetings with two USAID elections' program implementers. The incumbent would be expected to participate in one or more of these working groups, represent the US Mission, report on development with policy recommendations to the Team Leader, and present and coordinate USAID programs, priorities and strategies.
