Monday, June 15, 2020, 1:00 PM The District will conduct a pre-bid jobsite inspection tour to familiarize prospective bidders with the project site and conditions. The inspection will be conducted on June 15, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Bidders/bid walk attendees (Attendees) shall assemble at the District's Stockton office located at 1804 W Main St, Stockton, CA; the tour will then proceed to the Mokelumne Aqueduct Station 1408 and the well site three miles north of Station 1408The inspection will last approximately 2 hours. No photography by the Attendees will be allowedAll Attendees are required to have a photo ID and sign a confidentiality agreement not to share, sell, or publish photos. Attendees who wish to walk around the project sites may do so if they comply with San Joaquin County health orders and meet the following requirements: maintain social distance, wear a face covering, cover your sneeze and cough (do not cough/sneeze into your hands), and no physical contact. Attendees must bring their own face covering and a pen to sign the sign-in sheet. Hand sanitizer will be available at the bid walk. Attendees who do not meet the above requirements will not be allowed to leave their vehicles. If you feel sick or have been exposed to anyone who is sick, have a cough or fever, or other COVID-19 symptoms, do not attend the pre-bid jobsite inspection. No more than two persons per bidder shall be allowed at the pre-bid jobsite inspection.For jobsite inspection questions only, call Tom Bullock at (510) 287 1060. At Mokelumne Aqueduct Station 1408: Furnish and install two precast concrete vaults and associated piping; modify fittings and piping in Aqueducts No. 1 and No. 2 vaults to add a furnished 6" tee and replace existing air release valves with furnished air release valves; rent and install a potable water equalization tank and provide water level instrumentation; furnish and install customer wooden power poles; construct site improvements; furnish and install a skid mounted packaged pumping system integrated with the PLC, instrumentation, piping, and valves; perform PLC programming and integration of the packaged pumping system; furnish and install radio and antenna; furnish and install approximately 220 feet of 8" ML&CS, 120 feet of 8" mortar lined and inorganic zinc coated steel pipe, 15 feet of 6" mortar lined and fusion bonded epoxy coated steel pipe, 10 feet of 6" mortar lined and inorganic zinc coated steel pipe. At the well site, about 3 miles north of Station 1408: Modify well control panel to start and stop the well pump remotely and install a 480 to 120-volt transformer inside the control panel; furnish and install valve position switches; furnish and install radio and antenna; furnish and install wooden pole; and perform related required work, located as shown on Drawings.
