A. The project consists of providing the design and construction documents for removal and replacement of pool decking, pool re-plaster, new lane line eyelets /hooks, installation of an enhanced lighting system with energy efficient LED fixtures, deck lighting for night use, sound system for life guards and competition, replacement of deck drainage system and grates and replacement of depth markers on the pool deck, removal of grass areas south of the main pool and replacing it with concrete paving, removal of grass in the elevated areas north of the pool and replacing with a stable surfacing, development of shade structures north and south of the main pool, and preparation of a conceptual splash pad design. Design services will include analysis of geotechnical related information, and other related items. B. Obtain from the City the construction plans and any related reports for existing CRC C. Obtain from the City the Geotechnical Report performed by Geocon dated May 4, 2018, D. Perform site review to field-verify existing improvements, adjacent site structures and facilities. E. Prepare a complete set of improvement plans compatible with AutoCAD 2014. Plan submittals will be required at the 30%, 60%, 90% and 100%. The plans shall include a cover sheet with all sheets using the City title block and prepared in accordance with the regulations and standards of City of Temecula. F. Include the following new, and modification, or renovation of existing improvements: i. Technical specifications; ii. Swimming Pool plan view; iii. Deck plans and work limits; iv. Erosion Control and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (if necessary); v. Pool Lighting, Sound System design; vi. Splash Pad conceptual design; vii. Paving or resurfacing existing grass areas north/south of existing decking viii. Shade structures north/south of the exising pool decking ix. Other related work. G. Address all plan check comments, to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. Final plans shall be submitted on wet signed and stamped 24â X 36â mylars. Electronic copies of the project design files shall also be submitted to the City. H. Prepare a list of contract items and an engineerâs estimate, including quantity calculations for the construction of the proposed improvements. I. Prepare documentation for inclusion in the bid package, to be prepared by the City, including: a list of contract items and corresponding special provisions based on the latest edition of the Green Book for the various items of work using Microsoft Word. J. Be available to answer questions during bid and issue addenda during bidding process.
