A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requestors.  The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.  The RFP-solicitation issue date 03/15/2016 and respond due date 04/15/2016.

This requirement was authorized by purchase request 0061687997; and solicit as Unrestricted for approved sources of supply.  A Request for Quote (RFQ), SPE4A7-16-Q-0534 was issued to establish a Definite Quantity Firm Fixed Price type contract; on NSN 1680-01-163-4589, Detector, Flame for 224 each.  Item is designated as commercial/non-developmental and off-the shelf item (COTS); in accordance with Cage 61423 Part Number-30-207-6A and/or in accordance with Basic DWG NR 02731 7-117210034 Rev NR E dtd 12/12/1991; PN 7-117210034 requirements. Provision 52.217-9023 acquisition is restricted to material manufactured by the sources listed on the source control drawing.  Item is Critical Application.  Item is not export controlled nor is cited as Critical Safety as verified on February 23, 2016. 

Required delivery objective is 165 days total for total production.  Delivery of production requested at FOB Point @ Origin with Inspection & Acceptance at Origin.  Progress Payments are not authorized for this purchase.
