The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Contracting Operations Division - National Capitol Region, Falls Church, VA is seeking sources to supply at a firm fixed price, ONE (1) high-volume, high-throughput digital scanning system for pathology slide specimens at 400x magnification resolution, image quality and speed, to assist in tumor board case preparation and presentation.

The proposed system must be 100% compatible in training, staff experience, operations and maintenance with, the Philips Digital Whole Slide Imaging System; presently deployed, and standardized in training, staff experience, operations and maintenance; in the Joint Pathology Laboratory's staff of Pathologists; Cytologists and Residents.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 339112; and the Small Business size standard is 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit a response. A determination made by the Government to not compete this requirement will be based on responses to this notice and this decision will be solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether, to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be published.
