This requirement is being synopsized as a small business set aside.  Only small business offers will be accepted as valid offers.

DLA Mechanicsburg is preparing to solicit a requirement for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity long term contract – three base years and two option years, for General Purpose Electronic Test Equipment (GPETE) Digitizing 100 MHz Oscilloscope as described by the product description in the attached solicitation.  Solicitation will be released and posted to beta.SAM.gov within 16 days of this notice.  This will be a two-step solicitation.  Offerors must submit a technical proposal in accordance with the product description.  Offerors that have approved technical proposals will then submit price proposals.

Based on market research, this item is a commercial item under the definition of FAR 2.101, therefore the Government plans to use the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items.
