The Broadcasting Board of Governors, International Broadcasting Bureau (BBG/IBB), Office of Contracts (CON) located in Washington, D.C. anticipates a need (subject to availability of funding) to lease broadcast time from a TV Broadcaster in the Miami, Florida market area with time available in its broadcasting schedule on the local channels service of DirecTV. The time (to be priced in half hour blocks) will be needed by the Office of Cuba Broadcasting (OCB), also located in Miami, Florida, for its TV Marti programming between the hours of 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday); 12:00 a.m. - 2:00 a.m. (Monday - Friday); and 9:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. (Saturday - Sunday). In addition, there may also be a need (subject to availability of funding), to lease time from 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (Monday - Friday). The precise number of hours to be required will be subject to the availability of FY 2011 funding. The forthcoming Request for Proposal (RFP) Solicitation will provide the details on the overall requirement and will be released on or about November 15, 2010.
