Sealed Proposals will be received by the owner, Brooks County Commissioners at Courthouse Annex, 208 E. College Avenue, Ashburn, GA 31714, until 2:00 p.m. on the 20th day of December, 2021 for Obstruction Removal and Displaced Threshold at Quitman-Brooks County Airport in Brooks County, Georgia. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on the same day at 2:00 p.m. at County office – 610 South Highland Road, Quitman, Georgia, 31643. Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. This project is funded under Airport Improvement Program (AIP) by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA.) The Contractor's Proposal will include the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and all things necessary pursuant to Drawings, Specifications and Conditions, etc., to Obstruction Removal and Displaced Threshold at Quitman-Brooks County Airport, RAC 21005.10 (the "Project"). The Project generally includes Obstruction Removal and Displaced Threshold as shown on the plans. Contract Documents are open to the public at 610 South Highland Rd, Quitman, GA and at the office of Robert and Company, Architects Engineers Planners. DeLaney, 404-577-4000. Plans can be purchased for one-hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) for hard copy documents or thirty-five dollars ($35.00) for a CD in pdf format. No Proposal will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check or acceptable Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid and made payable to Brooks County Commissioners.
