The DLNR/DAR has identified a number of key Hawaiian coral reef fish species in need of more effective management. Lack of life history information presents an obstacle in the development of effective regulations for some of these species. This project will provide missing life history data for at least two species that will be useful for management, particularly in size limits and seasons.
