This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for non-commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. The RFQ number is N3904018TV039. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-94, 2005-95 (01/19/2017) and DFARS Change Notice 20161222. The NAICS code is 333996 and the Small Business Standard is 1,250 employees. This is a Sole Sourced requirement to Energy Solutions based on the following; PSNS and NNSY have purchased several pump skids designed and manufactured by Energy Solutions. The proprietary design has been tested and used satisfactorily. The Energy Solutions design meets the NAVSEA criteria. If another manufacturer was to design a different pump skid, PNs would incur the cost of the design and a design different than PSNS and NNSY would not meet the NAVSEA requirements of standardization. Purchasing one pump skid similar in design to the pump skids owned by PSNS and NNSY will allow shipyards to share resources if required.
