This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. Naval Medical Research Center (NMRC) intends to solicits a propsal and enter into a contract with Life Technologies Corporation. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) per FAR 6.302-1(c). The NAICs code for this is 325413. Naval Medical Research Center required that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with Central Contractor Registry (CCR)/System Award for Management (SAM). The notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government shall consider all response received with 7 days from this posting.
