Release of Draft Request for Proposal: The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Environmental Management (EM) is releasing the Draft Request for Proposal (RFP), Solicitation No. 89303319REM000052, pertaining to the Nationwide Deactivation, Decommissioning and Removal (DD&R) procurement. The purpose of the Draft RFP is to solicit questions and comments from interested parties, which will assist DOE in developing a Final RFP for this procurement. Input from interested parties regarding this Draft RFP is due by October 4, 2019. DOE IS NOT REQUESTING PROPOSALS AT THIS TIME, AND INTERESTED PARTIES SHALL NOT SUBMIT PROPOSALS IN RESPONSE TO THE DRAFT RFP. DOE WILL NOT EVALUATE ANY PROPOSALS RECEIVED IN RESPONSE TO THE DRAFT RFP. PROPOSALS SHALL BE SUBMITTED ONLY IN RESPONSE TO THE FINAL RFP, WHICH IS CURRENTLY ANTICIPATED TO BE ISSUED IN THE SECOND QUARTER OF GOVERNMENT FISCAL YEAR 2020. The DOE EM Nationwide DD&R procurement will be conducted as an unrestricted, full and open competitive procurement under NAICS code 562910, Environmental Remediation Services.
